राजस्थान सरकार ने शनिवार को कर्मचारी और पेन्शनर्स के महंगाई भत्ते में 4 प्रतिशत इजाफ़ा करने की घोषणा की है। पेंशनर और राज्य सरकार के कर्मचारी 1 जनवरी 2023 से 42 प्रतिशत महँगाई भत्ता प्राप्त करेंगे।
The Rajasthan government on Saturday announced a 4 per cent increase in the dearness allowance of the state employees and pensioners. The pensioners and state government employees will now receive a 42 per cent dearness allowance (DA) with effect from January 1, 2023.

महंगाई भत्ता (डीए) एक ऐसा भत्ता है जो सरकार के कर्मचारियों और पेंशनभोगियों को वस्तुओं और सेवाओं की बढ़ती कीमतों के एवज में दिया जाता है। डीए को कर्मचारी के मूल वेतन के प्रतिशत के रूप में गणना किया जाता है।
राजस्थान में वर्तमान में डीए 42% है। इसका मतलब है कि एक सरकारी कर्मचारी जिसका मूल वेतन 10,000 रुपये है, उसे प्रति माह 4200 रुपये का डीए मिलेगा। डीए हर छह महीने में उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक (सीपीआई) के आधार पर संशोधित किया जाता है।

डीए में बढ़ोतरी राज्य सरकार द्वारा आवश्यक वस्तुओं की बढ़ती कीमतों को देखते हुए की गई है। सरकार ने कहा है कि वह कीमतों की निगरानी करना जारी रखेगी और अपने कर्मचारियों के हितों की रक्षा के लिए उचित कदम उठाएगी।
